Judy and Nelson Horn, site developers, live in Palm Desert, California. If either of them look familiar, they probably are, because they have lived in many places. The Horns grew up in Holyoke, Massachusetts (no, not high school sweethearts). After graduating with several degrees under their belts, they started off to make their marks.
Nelson used his mechanical engineering and business degrees to eventually become a Vice President in an international energy company. During this tenure he traveled extensively in U. S. and Europe. His jobs over the years involved relocation to eight states. Talk about energy and you have captured his interest.
Judy was always the educator. Her assignments included the Governor’s Best Practice Center of the Virginia Department of Education. She was considered a leader in technology education (yes, she did get a computer science degree). A grant from ASCD led her to develop an award winning, education website (since sold). She was on the national, state and local speaker circuit and was a textbook writer/contributor.
Judy and Nelson have two children: a son, and Meredith Horn, their daughter, who died. Meredith’s passing devastated the Horns, and they often say NOTHING is as important as your family and relationships.
After moving to the desert, Judy and Nelson re-invented themselves as Realtors. They used their business success and experiences to provide the best results and experiences for their clients. They also are leaders in using new, innovative and evolving technologies in their real estate practice.
This site was developed to introduce the Palm Springs area to visitors and provide information about real estate on all levels; local, state and national. You will also find some fun postings as well. That is the nice thing about being the site developers. You can add what you wish and think visitors will be interested in.
